Physical Environment, how important is it? Many research studies have highlighted the importance of a company’s physical environment on a customer’s overall evaluation of service quality.

The physical environment of a bank can be referred to as the space in which the service is delivered and the customer experience is better when this is perceived as great.  Service is intangible and in every physical service setting the physical environment quality is essential; a customer needs to feel the service in some way.  The environment surrounding the customer has a significant effect on their overall perception and influences the service level experienced.
